I'm BACK!!

I'm so sorry it has taken me forever to update you on my exciting life. So much has been happening and I have barely had time to think. But no worries I have lots of pictures this time!
So, we will start off with GAME NIGHT! PLC held our first game night and I think it went pretty well all things considered. We ended up having it in the 2nd floor study room at the dorms, which is pretty small, but it worked out just fine and we had lots of treats to eat! lol We played apples to apples and Hoopla!

Lots of fun!! Then, there came the SNOW DAYS!!! No school for two and a half days was wonderful! We played games, such as board games and twister!!

Then, Kaleb was playing so intensely that he held his hand in one spot for too long and his hand got stuck that way!! As pictured above! haha Then, Matt was bored because he wasn't playing and decided to put on Holly's rainboots. He was cute!
After that was win the real fun came, if you call it that. We went sledding. It was so much fun especially that first day when it was all ice and you would slide for forever. But heres one bad thing that happened. Our group decided it would be so much fun to go down the hill on Bluestarr. We had to sleds and Matt and Gunther were on one and Laura and I were on the other. The boys were supposed to go first, but then they chickened out. Not knowing what we were getting ourselves into, Laura and I decide to go so we start flying down the hill probably going a good 15 mph if not more and start getting close to the curb. We push off until it gets to a turn in to a road and we cant push off so we crash so hard into the curb and we both fly into the air (Everyone said it was about 3 ft of air) and my tailbone was injured, injured bad! Laura couldn't walk because her leg was hurt so bad, so the guys decide to carry her, well then they drop her! haha.. About a week later we both recovered but it was not a fun way to spend the snow break! So the next night that everyone went sledding I just took pictures.

Everyone decided it would be really cool to link arms in a straight line and go down all together. Well I'll just say it was really funny to watch! haha..Then, it was back to business and back to school on Thursday! :( Next came Sunday the 1st AKA Super Bowl Night. We went to Lanaye's house to watch the game and it was a lot of fun! Holly's boyfriend, Aaron made this dip tray that was amazing, it looked like a football field with cheese dip as one endzone and salsa as the other, then a ton of guacamole as the playing field. It looked really good!Lots of fun was had, and no worries you can see that we had our 3D glasses to watch the commercials that you could barely tell were 3D!
The next day FEBRUARY 2 was my BIRTHDAY!! The ladies I work for were so sweet and got me a cookie cake! I loved it, and it was the only cake I got for my birthday! However, last week we were very busy trying to get all organized so we only got to enjoy it for a little while!

The rest of the week was mostly filled with homework, work, and classes. Then Friday I went and saw the movie Fireproof at the First Baptist Church downtown. It was a really good movie, it even made me cry! Then, Saturday we woke up bright and early at 8 o'clock and did community service around Claremore.

We got atleast 10 bags of trash cleaned up and we got a bunch of flyers passed out to local businesses for a restaurant opening. With all that done, Holly and I decided we needed to play a little, so we had some fun on the playground!

Well that made for an exciting couple of weeks!! I'm sure there will be much more later!

Let's Get It Started...

Well it has been quite the week already. We have had get togethers almost every night in my dorm so I have become rather exhausted. I have an 8 o'clock class that.. well lets just say I will avoid having another one as much as possible. Last weekend was really cool because a group of my friends have all decided to church hop around Claremore so we visited our first church last Sunday, which was First Baptist downtown. It was really nice and fun to have all of us there.

On Tuesday, me and my friend Holly went to a nursing home called Wood Manor here in Claremore and helped out baking cookies and delivering them to their residence. It was fun, and they were all so appreciative of us being there. Plus we got some cookies out of it all! haha..

I am really excited this semester for PLC. We are really trying to amp things up quite a bit and it hopefully will turn out great. We held our first game night last night and it went pretty well. We had probably around 30 people show up, which I didn't think was too bad. We have some ideas for some more events coming up, I can't wait to carry them out!! I will try to add in some pictures soon my camera died so I am having to bum pictures off of other people.

Classes are going well so far, but I can tell this semester may be a little crazy.

A New Beginning

Well last semester ended well. I will update you on the activities that occurred. PLC had our Christmas party and it was hilarious. We had a gift exchange and I got a box of mac and cheese filled with rice and chopsticks... thanks Chad! haha... We also saw the dedication of the clock which was pretty awesome to say that we were a part of that!

Then, a group of us all went ice skating at the BOK center in Tulsa and of course finished the night off with a lil IHOP. We also had our finals week student activities, most of which I was not able to be at, but I definitely made it to the Midnight Breakfast! Yumm Yumm... and the rest of the week was spent staying up late spending time with my friends before we all left for the break. Over the break I worked alot so I wasn't able to do too much exciting, but once I was paid it was all well worth it. However, I was excited because this year I got to cut down my first real Christmas tree! It was awesome! haha.. Christmas was great I spent it with my family and my cousins from California and Sweden came into town so it was great to see all of them!
After Christmas came the shopping, I went shopping in Tulsa the day after Christmas, then I went to Dallas the Saturday following Christmas with my friend Erin. It was fun, I didn't buy much but that's okay. Then, New Years Eve was spent at Chad McMains house with a bunch of our friends. It was so much fun, we had a bonfire and hung out outside trying to keep warm. Plus it was cool for me because you could see all the stars so clearly out there compared to in Tulsa!

Then, after staying up way to late the night before, the next I went with CRU to Ft. Worth for the Winter Conference. It was phenomenal! I went there barely knowing anyone, but I had a blast and got to know everyone and was definitely very inspired! Plus, like half of our people playing some kind of instrument so we were constantly playing music which was awesome! There were a ton of funny things that happened as well... like 17 people getting stuck on an elevator (as pictured), the crazy irish accent, and broom ball that made the trip absolutely amazing!! I got back in town Monday the 5 and started back to work the next day. Work was pretty busy trying to get all the online classes organized and made so the teachers could work on them but there were some slow times too. haha.

Then on Saturday, me and two of my friends Holly and Laura went to Dallas again to go shopping. OMG it was crazy fun! I found so much stuff for amazing prices and we were constantly making eachother laugh! However I was awake for 22 hours and crashed when I got home and slept away most of the day on Sunday, but it was worth it!

Well.. school has now begun and hopefully it wont be too brutal. I'm taking lots of classes, more than usual, so I'm hoping that I will be able to keep up! until next time...

AHHH... im so busy!

So I have kinda been stinking at updating the past week or so and I feel really bad cause there have been so many great amazing things happening.
So I will just go ahead and start with the beginning. HOMECOMING WEEK WAS AMAZING. PLC had an adorable board made by Charity and we won for it! Then all the shopping carts were so cute and very clever! There was one by one of the fraternities which was like a big dragon! haha... I have some pictures of ours that I will put up in a bit. Then later in the week we had the bonfire which was amazing. It was really warm and the band was really fun! Then a big group of us hit up Peppers to eat afterwards. The next day we woke up bright and early and hung out with some future Hillcats at Destination RSU.

After Destination RSU we headed to the tailgate. It was a blast. There were lots of people and different organizations. There was the PIKE car bash and PLC's Egg Bash, as well as music and food. It was really a great time!!!
As you can tell it was a ton of fun! Then we went inside to watch the games. The girls sadly did not win, but the boys won quite well.
Then, it was a party in the boys dorm room, us girls made dinner and we watched the OSU game. It was a lot of fun and we had enough food to last for awhile, or atleast my fruit salad did! haha
Last weekend I got to go to Oklahoma City because my sister got a Silver Medal award for how well she did when she passed the CPA. It was a pretty big deal and we got to tour the capitol, eat at Bourbon Street Cafe, and tour the Memorial. It was really fun and I was glad to spend time with my family. Plus I found out that my cousin will be dancing in the Macy's Day parade on Thanksgiving, which is very exciting I can't wait to see her!
Well work is going well, and I have been doing well in school. I've been pretty stressed out from getting toward the end of the year, so there are finals and essays due and so I'm just trying to get through it all! Thank goodness though that this weekend is Thanksgiving weekend!
I am excited for next semester, I am going in January to Ft.Worth with CRU and then I'm going on a trip to Oklahoma City in February for the Nigh Leadership Academy. I think they will both be great opportunities for me, and I cant wait to go! Well, I am about to head home for the break but I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

Can life get anymore hectic?

Last weekend was Halloween, it wasn't too exciting for me, I wanted to go to the PIKE party, but we didn't have costumes together in time. So instead that evening I went to my boyfriends brothers house to help with the trick or treating. All the kids were so adorable!!!

Saturday I went to a wedding, then watched the Texas vs. Texas Tech game, which was very exciting especially toward the end of it. Then, I had lots of studying to do. My classes this week haven't been too brutal. My Anatomy and Physiology teacher has had jury duty this week, so I did not have that class Monday or Wednesday. I got sick this week with gastritis, not fun and the hospital called me out of school for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. However, I had two tests on Thursday so I went anyways, but I don't think it was the greatest idea.

This week was also HOMECOMING WEEK!! It started off by a spirit board contest on Monday, where Charity did an amazing job on the PLC board. Then, Tuesday was where each department decorated for a contest and the enrollment office looks so cute! Wednesday was a scavenger hunt, but I was still in Tulsa recovering so I didn't get to participate, then that evening PLC and Honors took a field trip to Stillwater to watch the basketball game, and sadly enough I couldn't make that either because I wasn't back in time. We also sadly did not win! :( Then, today was the shopping cart parade, where different clubs would decorate shopping carts and roll them through the campus. Tomorrow is the bonfire and The Plumbers will be performing also. Then, Saturday we are participating in Destination RSU, then PLC is having an Egg Bash at the tailgate party and there will also be a car bash so I hear. I'm very excited for all the events and also going to the game!

There will be a lot going on and we hope lots of people can come out and have a great time with us!
